Navajo Webelos Camp - Tomahawk Scout Reservation - Rice Lake, WI
For current 4th grade Webelos
Wednesday, July 7 - Saturday July 10, 2010
Ratio 1 adult:1 scout is strongly recommended.
Fees: $100.00/scout and $100.00/adult

For Webelos who were in the 4th grade prior to the summer, Navajo Webelos Camp introduces second year Webelos into the basics of Boy Scout camping and is a transition between the leader-guided, introductory years of Cub Scouting and the Scout-guided personal development-oriented Boy Scouting.  Navajo provides a 4 day, 3 night program that gives youth a chance to see Tomahawk and Boy Scout camp before spending a full week away from mom and dad. Activities at Webelos Resident camp include work on Webelos activity badges, nature activities, swimming, boating, climbing, wrist rockets, bb-gun shooting, archery and sport belt loop activities.  At Navajo, Webelos and adults live in supplied canvas wall tents on wooden platforms with canvas cots or bring their own tent.  Food is served in a dining hall.
